abstract = "The purpose of this work is to present the optical system
developed for the MUX camera (Multispectral Camera), which will
integrate the CBERS 3 \& 4 satellites. This camera is being
completely developed by Opto Eletr{\^o}nica S.A. and is intended
for the earth remote sensing. It will orbit at an altitude of 778
km and has four spectral bands covering the wavelength range from
blue to near infra-red, field of view of 8,8º which comprises a
120 km image wide with 20 m of ground resolution. In particular,
the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) optical analysis performed
during the preliminary project is presented, including in ground
optical tests. The optical system MTF and global MTF, including
the CCD sensor and the signal processing electronic, were carried
out using a collimator of 3000 mm focal length. The optical system
MTF test was also performed using an interferometer with
wavelength of 632 nm. The results demonstrate that the optical
system performance reaches the requirements of the project.",
